A temporary garden consisting of 14 wooden boxes on wheels filled with plants and placed on Kungsportsavenyen “Avenyn”

An ordinary garden is divided into separate parts, each species in a separate box. The movable boxes call to mind archives and how we systematize the world around us to make it comprehensible and to gain control.

The fir tree stands for the surrounding landscape, chives, in another box, stands for what we can cultivate close to our homes. Everything else in between are plants that can be found in an ordinary garden somewhere in Sweden.

Focus of each text is when and why these plants came to Sweden and what the plant is used for. The texts was collected into a small compendium and available at site during the last day.
